I'm Deb, and I am the Maker behind Shay Butter Soapery! I have been a creative-minded crafter my entire life, and have enjoyed watching videos about soap-making on YouTube for several years. In 2021, I met my neighbor, who is knowledgeable about the soap-making process and she invited me over to make soap. I was HOOKED! Not long after, there was over a year's worth of soap in the house, so I knew I had to start selling it!

Meet Shay, the Beagle

Ever wonder why "Shay" is seemingly misspelled in our company name? It is actually a coincidental play on words when the business was named after our beagle, Shay. So many times when new people meet her, they comment on how "buttery soft" her ears are. With this, a name was born.
